In the process of completing an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of York. Studied at Shrewsbury School between 2008 and 2013. Obtained A* in Chemistry, History and A in Mathematics and English Literature at A2-level. Obtained A in Further Mathematics in AS-level. Obtained in 8A*s and 2As in GCSEs as well as an A in the Free-Standing Mathematics Qualification in Additional Mathematics.
Experience
I have tutored on two 10 week placements for grade 8 Mathematics and English writing. My interest in becoming a tutor stems from my inherent love of education and a belief that a child's education shouldn't be limited to one institution's resources if they need more help - especially if they can't afford it, which is why my rate is lower than others. I have just finished my second year studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the Russell Group's University of York and am on track for a First Class Honours. I have competed on the television game show 'Countdown' and in my first year was awarded 98% for 'Using Mathematics in Economics'.
