Education
I am currently a second year undergraduate student at the University of York, studying a BSc in Psychology. My previous education consists of an A at A Level in English Literature, an A at A Level in Classical Civilisation, a B at A Level in Psychology and an A at AS Level in Geography. I studied at Bay House School and Sixth Form. Additionally, I gained an A* in both Mathematics and Statistics at GCSE and an A in Science and Additional Science from Cams Hill School.
Experience
Whilst I do not have any professional tutoring experience, whilst I was in college I volunteered every Friday helping struggling year 9 students how to read. Furthermore, I have four siblings that I have helped throughout their school careers, proof reading essays and coursework. From this, my sister earnt herself a First in her final year dissertation from the University of Southampton. I spent my gap year balancing two full time jobs, one of which was working in an office as an admin assistant. Through this I have learnt how to apply knowledge learnt from school to real life situations. I want to be a tutor as I believe it would be valuable experience for what I want to achieve in my future career, hopefully as an Educational Psychologist. I am a friendly approachable individual and I believe that I will provide beneficial tutoring to my students by been thorough whilst also making the time enjoyable.
